Grade 3 ties for 6th at the World Pipe Band Championships!
Congratulations to the North Coast Grade 3 band who tied for 6th in the Grade 3B Finals at the World Pipe Band Championships this year in Glasgow, Scotland! The drum corps earned an impressive 4th place in drumming in a field of 22 bands.
The band will return to Scotland to try to win the Grade 3 event in 2021.
The Grade 4 and 5 bands joined the Grade 3 in Scotland competing in the 4A and 4B events respectively. The trip offered a great opportunity to strengthen and grow both programs. The debut of the Grade 5 band was recognized by the RSPBA on the day as the band tuned up for competition.
